We are the UK’s first political internet television channel based at Westminster – run by young people, for young people. Whenever you have a question, comment or view that you want heard we'll make sure it happens, right here, in the heart of power. Catch21 is here for you and is here to stay.

Internet Channel Launches for Young People at Parliament

The innovative channel aims to appeal to a youthful audience, keeping them abreast of the latest political developments. Utilising space in the Houses of Parliament the channel will feature young reporters interviewing Peers, MPs and other high-profile political speakers. Interviews with high profile guests kick off the channel’s first week including a discussion with Elections Minister, Bridget Prentice.

The channel will be viewable on the Catch21 Productions website, www.catch21.co.uk. Catch21 Productions was set up by students from the Politics department at the University of Hull to increase young people’s awareness of and participation in political issues.

The Rt. Hon. Alan Johnson MP (Secretary of State for Health) said: “It is fantastic that Parliament is embracing internet television for young people."

Michael Hepburn, CEO, Dod’s said: “Dod’s through ePolitix.com, is proud to support Catch21 in their efforts to further involve young people in the democratic process.  We fundamentally believe that whenever the next general election comes we must fully engage with young people and this innovative project will help to better inform about politics and policy.”
